nicki minaj drags drake for “not being like her” as far as loyalty
inside jamari fox

I had to wonder:
Isn’t it wild how people can show their true colors when they are supposed to be your friends?
i’ve had two scenarios in my life that are like a bad rerun on repeat.
First: there were those moments when everyone watched me get dragged through the mud by someone i fell out with in a group,
yet no one had my back when they saw i was being done wrong.
It was very “Kill Bill”.

They were all too eager to turn on me because the “leader” had more clout.
Some of those situations were with the straights.
The vixens got catty and the straights weren’t going to align with “the sus one”.
don’t act like gays aren’t like this.
skin folk and gay folk don’t always be your skinfolks.
Two: there’s the scenario where someone I thought was cool starts hanging out with and promoting someone that i didn’t fuck with/vice versa.
all those situations are fucked up but as usual…
History has a nasty habit of repeating itself.
eventually,
after the leader showed they had no loyalty to them either,
the followers end up getting burned and come crawling back,
waving the white flag with some pathetic attempt at spilling tea.
Sorry babes but i don’t sip on toilet water.

in both cases,
i took the hits and kept moving forward like a tank.
i stayed silent and let my actions speak louder than words.
so when i see nicki minaj allegedly going after drake for collab’n with latto,
i get it.
.@NICKIMINAJ humiliates @Drake and @partynextdoor calling them Ugly Boy 1 and Ugly Boy 2 for collaborating with @Latto

as regulars,
we know exactly who our friends don’t vibe with and steer clear accordingly.well,
some of us.
what if we know our friend is actually the villain in the story tho?
do we continue to follow the leader or stay neutral with both sides?
it’s simple to answer that within our real forests but in the industry,
does the game change once money and potential clout are in the mix?
it got me thinking about the entertainment forests:
Is it loyalty or just business?
…and what happens when male rappers roll with kendrick,
but deep down,
they know drake could land them a top 10 hit off his feature?

Does money talk and loyalty walk?
lowkey: with this nicki shit,
there could be two sides to this story.
didn’t she turn on drake for meek tho?
why do i feel like these two don’t truly fuck with each other?
